Staff to Child Ratio

Christ Lutheran follows the Office of Child Care Services, (OCCS), guidelines for the staff/child ratio. The following states the appropriate ratio for staff to children. Preschool (2.9-5years)- one staff to ten children, or two staff to eleven-twenty children. One person shall be teacher qualified. The other staff member will be an assistant or teacher qualified. There may be times that the staff ratio will be higher than the requirements.

T/TH morning	2.9 and three year	licensed for 20	Teacher and two aides

We are also part of the Community Partnership Program of West Boylston. This allows us to have additional aides in our classroom. These aides are additional to our regular staff.

Students from the West Boylston High School, who are studying Early Childhood Education, also may participate in our program. Sometimes students come to observe and other times come to work with the children.
